Remove Fake and Policy-Violating Indeed Reviews

Indeed keeps company reviews up unless they break its content guidelines. We find the reviews that do, tie each one to the rule it breaks, and report it through Indeed's own process.

Can Indeed company reviews be removed?

Yes, when a review breaks Indeed's company review guidelines. Nexus Multimedia, a San Diego agency, gets Indeed reviews removed for employers across the United States: we find the reviews on your Company Page that break a specific guideline, document each breach, and report them through Indeed's own process. We get Indeed reviews removed with an over 95% success rate on the violations we take on. Outcomes depend on violation type and platform policies, and a review that is critical but within the guidelines stays up.

Who decides whether a reported Indeed review comes down?

Indeed's own team. Indeed's employer help says reviews "are not removed unless they break our content guidelines," and that after a report, "Our team will review and decide if it violates policy." Nexus Multimedia works through that same process, with no special access; the work is knowing which reviews qualify and making the case for each one.

Indeed also says it does not edit or change reviews, so a reported review either stays up as written or comes down. That is why every case we make is about what the review says, measured against what Indeed's guidelines allow.

Which Indeed reviews break the guidelines?

Indeed publishes what company reviews may and may not contain in its company review guidelines. These are the breaches we look for.

Customers posting as employees

Reviews are only for companies the reviewer works for or has worked for, and Indeed tells reviewers not to review the company's products or services. A customer complaint posted as a company review breaks both rules.

Defamatory, threatening, or abusive statements

Indeed does not allow unlawful, fraudulent, discriminatory, threatening, abusive, libelous, or defamatory statements, or sexual, ethnic, racial, or other discriminatory slurs.

Personal details about individuals

Personal information about the reviewer or anyone else is not allowed, and neither are personal details about someone outside their role at the company.

Factual claims and accusations

Reviewers are asked to share their experience, not to make factual claims about the company, and Indeed says reviews are not the place to report crimes or make claims of illegal activity.

Internal and non-public information

Non-public information, legal claims, and internal company details do not belong in a company review.

Paid, pressured, or duplicate reviews

Indeed allows one review per person, per company, and may remove reviews where there is evidence the reviewer was paid, or forced or pressured to post.

How does Indeed review removal work?

01

Read every review

We read each review on your Indeed Company Page against Indeed's guidelines and tell you which qualify for removal, which do not, and why. A review that is critical but within the rules goes on the second list, and we say so.

02

Build the case

For each qualifying review we name the guideline it breaks and quote the words that break it, so the report gives Indeed's team something specific to check.

03

Report it through Indeed

Each review is reported with the Report option on the review, using the reason that fits the breach. Indeed says it does not update the person who reported a review about the outcome, so we check your Company Page for each decision.

04

Respond and rebuild

Reviews that stay up get a professional reply. Indeed's company reviews policy for employers asks for timely, courteous responses and rules out threats of legal or other action.

What will Indeed not remove?

Indeed sets out what happens to reviews that follow its guidelines, and we work inside the same limits.

Indeed does not remove a review for being negative. Its employer help says reviews stay up unless they violate its content guidelines.

Indeed does not edit or change reviews. A reported review either stays up as written or comes down.

We do not try to identify reviewers. Indeed says content is anonymous and that a reviewer's identifiable account details are not shared with the company.

Indeed says it may share information when a subpoena, search warrant, law enforcement request, or court order requires it. That is a legal route for your attorney, not something a report can do.

We do not pay, pressure, or incentivize anyone to post reviews. Indeed may remove reviews where it has evidence that the reviewer was paid or pressured.

We do not promise that any single review will come down. Indeed's team decides each report against its policy.

How do Indeed reviews relate to Glassdoor reviews?

Glassdoor legally merged into Indeed, Inc. on July 1, 2026, and its brand, product, and anonymous reviews continue under Indeed's terms of use, as Reworked reported. Employers using Glassdoor's Employer Branding Hub can view Indeed and Glassdoor reviews in one Reviews tile, according to Glassdoor's employer guide.

Reviews are still reported where they were posted. An Indeed company review goes through Indeed's Report review option and its company review guidelines; a Glassdoor review is flagged against Glassdoor's Community Guidelines, which our Glassdoor review removal service covers. Customer reviews on your Business Profile are handled under Google review removal, and all three sit inside our reputation management work.

Common questions about Indeed review removal

Yes, when a review breaks Indeed's company review guidelines. Indeed says reviews stay up unless they violate its content guidelines, and that it does not edit or change reviews. We get qualifying Indeed reviews removed with an over 95% success rate on the violations we take on. Outcomes depend on violation type and platform policies.

Select the three dots on the review, choose Report review, pick the reason that fits best, and submit. Employers can also use the Report option on a review on their Company Page. Indeed's team then decides whether the review violates its policy, and Indeed does not update the person who reported it about the outcome.

Not under Indeed's guidelines. Company reviews are only for companies the reviewer works for or has worked for, and reviewers are told not to review the company's products or services. A customer complaint posted as a company review can be reported on those grounds.

No. Indeed says content is anonymous and that a reviewer's identifiable account details are not shared with the company. It may share information when a subpoena, search warrant, law enforcement request, or court order requires it, which is a matter for your attorney rather than a report. We do not try to identify reviewers.

Promptly and professionally. Indeed's company reviews policy for employers asks for timely, courteous responses, suggests taking individual cases offline, and tells employers not to respond to combative reviewers, disclose personal information, or threaten legal or other action.

Yes. Glassdoor reviews are flagged through Glassdoor's own moderation process and judged against its Community Guidelines. Glassdoor merged into Indeed, Inc. in July 2026, but each site's reviews are still reported on the site where they were posted.
